About Joseph Zeni, Jr. PT PhD
My Background
I started my career as a Physical Therapist working with medically complex patients and clients. After several years of clinical practice, I returned to school to pursue my PhD in Biomechanics and Movement Science and subsequently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Trials Outcomes. Since that time, I have had a successful career in academia, serving as principal investigator on numerous clinical trials and educating students in professional and research doctoral programs. I have also leveraged knowledge of the healthcare space and clinical studies working with pharmaceutical and medical device companies in a field medical affairs roles. I have recently transitioned into a full-time role as a Medical Science Liaison, where I work in the oncology precision medicine space. I am always looking to connect with like-minded folks who are established in the field, or aspiring to enter industry from academia or clinical care.
