About Joseph Zeni, Jr. PT PhD
My Background
I started my career as a Physical Therapist working with medically complex patients and clients. After several years of clinical practice, I returned to school to pursue my PhD in Biomechanics and Movement Science and subsequently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Trials Outcomes. Since that time, I have had a successful career in academia, serving as principal investigator on numerous clinical trials and educating students in professional and research doctoral programs. I have also leveraged knowledge of the healthcare space and clinical studies working with pharmaceutical and medical device companies in a field medical affairs roles. I have recently transitioned into a full-time role in Scientific Communications, where I work as an Associate Director with a large pharmaceutical client currently launching a new indication in the solid tumor (Breast Cancer) therapeutic area. I am always looking to connect with clients in need of scientific writing or partners looking to build out their field medical affairs teams.
